1.Go out more
To get new friends,you must go out more.When you go out,you may meet new people and have conversation with them.And when you start talking to somebody always smile, because no one likes a grumpy person.
Make jokes,do not make silly faces or do weird stuff when you don't know anything about them,they may think you're crazy or a psycho.When you make jokes,people will take you as a funny person,and everybody likes to hang out with someone who makes them laugh and smile.
2.Join a lot of clubs(reading club,horse riding,racing,sports clubs etc...)
Joining clubs gives you a great opportunitie to meet new people and hang out with them.When you join a club,you must be active and have good relations with the other members.
3.Trust them
When you trust somebody,they will trust you too because they will think you won't betray them.Tell embarrassing stories of yours so they will feel comfortable when they talk to you.
4.Don't be 'overly-attached'
You should be nice to your new friends and you must be careful because you may lose them if you do something wrong,one of the most common things people do to lose their friends is being overly-attached to them.When someone says im going out tonight,don't hurry up and ask him to let you come too.Or when someone says I can't go out tonight,im busy,don't ask him why ,what's wrong,when are you not busy...Just be calm and tell him oh,maybe next time then,give me a call when you're done.
5.Support them
When someone is disapointed from life,he failed an exam,he's not sure what he/she's gonna do about something,support them,give them your thoughts and don't just stay there and say I don't know.When you tell them your thoughts then they will feel better and will trust you more and count on you.
These tips will lead you to get more friends and make your old friends trust and count on you.
